As supply chain networks continue to spread globally in response to new opportunities to reduce cost and increase service levels, China’s role is expected to evolve from being the sole sourcing point to that of an enabler of pan-Asian supply chain service response strategies. Nanning in particular has the potential to serve as a logistics hub for supply and demand chain responses serving targeted customer segments in Southeast Asia, China and the world.
