Western China Development

Shanghai and Gansu Province jointly develop new infrastructure

On November 1, the Shanghai Urban Transport Authority and Gansu Provincial Transport Authority signed the Eurasian Continental East-West Road Transport Cooperation Agreement. This agreement provides for the development of transport infrastructure to link the Western China with its most valuable port.

Shanghai is one of the largest ports in China, and it is the key to the country’s growth and development. With the Eurasian Continental Bridge to the Gansu province, Gansu province will become the most important hub for the western region development.
