BMW opens up a new auto parts distribution center in Shanghai

The new distribution center will improve supply and operational efficiency significantly

The German car maker BMW has opened up a new auto parts distribution center in Minghang District, southwest of Shanghai. The new distribution center can store 15,000 kinds of spare parts and is predicted to deliver 290,000 car components within China every year.

The new distribution center will improve the supply and operational efficiency from parts ordering, imports, warehousing, and distribution. A significant reduction in delivery time of car components to dealers is expected, especially in central China.

BMW has another distribution center in Beijing and a warehouse in Hong Kong.
