Shanghai Airline Logistics Group formed from six companies

An alliance of air cargo carriers was formed to improve operations and the overall supply chain.

Shanghai Airlines Co. Ltd. set up a cargo alliance with five other companies called the Shanghai Airline Logistics Group.  The goal is the improve operations by integrating them and improving their supply chain.  The six companies include:

  • Shanghai Airlines Co., Ltd
  • China United Airlines Co., Ltd.
  • Shanghai Airlines Cargo International Co., Ltd.
  • Shanghai-Airlines Cargo International Transportation Services Co., Ltd.
  • Shanghai Crane Transportation Co., Ltd.
  • Dahang International Transportation Co., Ltd.

The fleet will contain 70 passenger and cargo planes.

  • 3 MD-11 cargo carrier
  • 2 Boeing 757 cargo carrier
  • 1 Boeing 747 cargo carrier

The alliance has over 170 domestic flights and 20 international flights to over 60 cities in China and other countries.
