Schneider Nation Inc. expands relationship with railroad service providers

Schneider Nation will utilize BNSF to serve their Western customers and CSX to their Eastern customers. Class I railroad providers, which Schneider Nation will maintain secondary relationships, will be utilized to reach to areas that BNSF and CSX do not cover. 

Bill Matheson, president of Schneider National Intermodel, stated that “our goal remains consistent: to provide a door-to-door ‘truck-like’ experience for our customers. Establishing these rail relationships means we’re making it easier and more beneficial to our customers. We have made it priority to take intermodal and make it simple for our customers. In the end, this is going to save our customers significant time and money while increasing reliability.”
