Rail Network links 3 countries

Rail networks through southwest china will link Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand through Chinas Yunnan Province.

Southwest China's Yunnan Province is expediting the process of building four railways to link, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Thailand.  Qin Guangrong said “that the four outbound railways are significant to the transport and economic development of Yunnan province and the three ASEAN countries.”  The railway connecting Kunming, Yuxi and Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnamhave have been under construction and are expected to be completed in 2009. 

The other railways are either in the planning stage or will start construction shortly.
