Green product sales increase

Philips achieved 33 percent increase in sales of green products last year

Philips announced a “significant” increase in sales of green products from 4 billion euro in 2006 to 5.3 billion euro in 2007. This included all three sectors: Healthcare, Lighting, and Consumer Lifestyle.  

Sample successful green products are Cineos Sounbar with Ambisound and energy efficient LCD TV which reduce energy consumption by 50 percent and 36 percent respectively.
