TNT takes the lead in the transport industry to reduce carbon emission

TNT receives the ISO 14001 accreditation

TNT takes the lead in reducing carbon footprint and received the ISO 14001 accreditation. Twelve TNT locations in the United Kingdom were assessed by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LQTA) on various environmental management activities, such as waste reduction and recycling, fuel efficiency, environmental training, pollution control, and energy reduction.

TNT express service managing director Tom Bell said “We are the only express and logistics operator to achieve this certification on a company-wide basis, and the first to hold both ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety) standards at the same time.”
