The Impact of Green on your Supply Chain

Carbon emissions accounts for 42% of all worldwide Man-Made Greenhouse Gases. How much does your Supply Chain have?

Supply Chains have been under the green magnifying glass recently and the reason being simple: they can produce a greater part of the US’s carbon emissions.  Petroleum is used to move the bulk of the materials and goods.  In the US, petrolium makes up 97% of the CO2 Emissions in the transportation segment. This is only some of the puzzle.  A Supply Chain’s carbon emissions start from the raw materials to the disposal of the product.

By changing your vision to become greener, your supply chain can become more efficient, more cost-effective, and more environmentally conscious.  The Green trend has started with green buildings, hybrid cars, energy efficient appliances and others.  Will you be left behind in the Green Movement?
