Culina Logistics is Reducing Their Carbon Footprint by Starting to Follow the EEC Euro 5 Regulations.

Culina Logistics purchased 11 new Volvo trucks which meet the EEC Euro 5 regulations to help reduce their carbon footprint.

The EEC Euro 5 regulations, on carbon emissions will be taking effect in 2009. 

Culina Logistics, who specialized in chilled foods and drinks, is working on becoming Greener by adding 11 new Volvo trucks which meet the EEC Euro 5 regulations.  The Euro 5 compliance needs to be completed by 2009.  These vehicles use Volvo’s SCR (selective catalytic reduction) technology.  Culina is trying to lower its carbon footprint in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. 

Culina operates out of 3 strategic locations in the UK and will be using the vehicles as their primary distribution vehicles to make deliveries to retailers and regional distribution centers.
