Warren Hoemann, senior vice president of the American Trucking Association stated “The Chinese trucking industry is still in its infancy.” He also stated that the industry is “moving very fast, though.” Mi Wenju, the deputy manager of Beijing Xianglong Assets Management Co. Ltd. stated “First we have to learn from the outside world.” He continued to state that what they learn from everyone else can help them improve the China network. The China road network has been built up in the past 5 years. They are currently spending over $100 billion on transportation infrastructures. China is currently the leader in Ocean ports.
