Canon expands production capacity in China

Cannon planned to boost production capacity in Guangdong and build a new laser printer plant in Vietnam

Cannon plans to become the world’s biggest maker of digital cameras by 2009 by boosting the current production capacity in Guangdong by around 20 percent which will reach 10 million units. Additionally, Canon will build a new factory in northern Vietnam to assemble low-cost printers.
