Shanghai Pudong International Airport will handle 6 million tons of freight with the third terminal and two additional runways in operation by 2015

Shanghai Airport Authority announced yesterday that the <place w:st="on" /><placename w:st="on" />Pudong</placename /> <placename w:st="on" />International</placename /> <placetype w:st="on" />Airport</placetype /></place /> will build a third passenger terminal and two additional runways by 2015.  The UPS International Air Hub is set to be in operation by 2008, and the DHL Express North Asia Hub by 2010. With the completion of the two runways in 2008, the airport can handle 4.2 million tons of freight per year.
